Carine’s role was as Senior Project Manager for the design-assist delivery of new boutique hotel in existing wood-frame structure. The project consisted of extensive renovation of an existing 45-key beach front hotel which included seismic retrofit of the circa 1988 wood-frame structure, a new Porte Cochere structure supported by 35-foot-deep caissons, on-site waste water treatment with dispersion fields, new lobby and restaurant, all new finishes in the guest rooms, complete new plaster system and waterproofing, new clay-tile roof and landscape. The project also included the build-out of the new Carbon Beach Club restaurant on site.
