Carine was the Project Manager and permit Lead for the design, permit coordination, agency negotiations, and construction for a classified aircraft fabrication line in an existing Class I aircraft hangar totaling over 150,000 square feet. The project was executed under four separate projects and required extensive site and building renovations to meet city building and planning department requirements. The city tied this project into a facility-wide upgrade initiative to meet current accessibility codes. Carine successfully negotiated reduced requirements for the fabrication building, deferring millions of dollars construction costs, and avoiding costly Department of Defense contract penalties projected in the billions of dollars.
