The jet engine builder implemented a 3 – 5 year plant expansion and ramp-up for its blades and disks manufacturing at the existing Columbus, Georgia facility. The project includes $80 million in design and construction (primarily design-build delivery method) to support an additional $225 million in press installations. Carine provided Owner’s Agent Project Management services for the large-scale program. Carine assisted with the implementation of a new project controls system using P6 Scheduling and Share Point document repository. Carine’s responsibilities also included project scope development, construction requests for proposals and bid packages, and managing Independent Technical Review (ITR) of design deliverables.
