Carine manages the design and construction process during the entire project cycle, from early planning and development, through turnover and closeout. We also manage individual project phases such as programming and design, or construction phase management only, depending on the client’s specific needs and internal staff capabilities. Our goal is to customize Carine’s scope of services to best fit the requirements of the project, facility, and client objectives.
A Carine senior project manager is assigned as the owner’s representative and single point of contact responsible for delivery of the project scope, schedule, and budget. Carine will chair meetings and facilitate all project communication. Carine uses web-based and in-house software tools for project controls to meticulously track project scope, schedule, budget, and document management.

Carine supplements our project services with Construction Management (CM) during hard construction, commissioning, furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E) installation, and turnover. Together, the owner and Carine develop a field management and staffing plan best suited to the project size, complexity, owner in-house staff, and contractor capabilities.
CM services are integrated with Carine’s PM services to ensure there are no overlaps or gaps during construction.

Some of our projects require a more technical approach to integrate facility design with specific end-user requirements. Carine’s engineers and technical Project Managers bring together the facility design team with the process team to ensure capital improvements meet the needs of the owner’s process, equipment specifications, and vendor requirements.
The Carine PM will flush out technical information during the project planning phase. When the project architect and engineers are on board, our PM will manage working design meetings to close technical scope gaps. The design collaboration is done concurrently with preliminary agency meetings to confirm permitting requirements for equipment early in the design phase.
Integrating facility and process design mitigates scope gaps resulting in efficient design, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
